Tips for healthy living
1. Eat lots of different coloured fruits and vegetables, atleast five servings a day
2. Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water per day
3. Cut down sugars from your diet like biscuits, cakes, pies , pastries etc
4. Cut down saturated fats like butter, cream, hard cheese, oils , ghee etc
5. Eat less salt
6. Walk a lot and be active
7. Expose yourself to sunlight as much as possible
8. Nature is the best healer and try to spend as much time in nature as possible
9. Take atleast 7-8 hours of sleep per day
10. Never skip your breakfast.
11. Eat dinner early
12. Meditate regularly.
13. Divide your meal plate in 4 portions with one portion of vegetables, one portion of daal & curd( proteins) , one portion of rotis &rice ( carbs ) and one portion of salads and fruits.
